Working from home, day 8: That's where they re-recorded all the Ozzy songs from the Randy albums right?

That's where they re-recorded all the Ozzy songs from the Randy albums right? Half and half. There's a bunch of original songs on there too. The Ozzy ones they did were Crazy Train, Over The Mountain, I Don't Know, Mr. Crowley, Tonight, and Flying High Again.

Is that W.A.S.P. album any good?

Is that W.A.S.P. album any good? My favourite after Headless Children.

That album cover was wasted.

I think this album is solid but certainly not worth a five year wait.

I think this album is solid but certainly not worth a five year wait. Can thank the Decades album/tour for that, ironically the Decades tour will be the final relevant thing they do until Tuomas lets Emppu write riffs and solos again. I'm amazed Emppu hasn't left the band yet (paycheck). I can only imagine the expectation when Blind Guardian puts their next non-symphony metal album out. Can't believe its been almost 10 years At The Edge of Time.

It's "different", folkier. But not bad.
I just want them not to wait for five years, which is apparently what they are planning to do again. (judging from the interview they gave in Aardschok magazine last month)...

I expect a longer overall wait for new music because of the pandemic. Travel restrictions might make it harder to get in the studio and distribution centers that make physical copies might not be opened for a while. Also, many bands have delayed tour plans which will push new releases back further.

Touring takes time, dear boy. Olof's voice is actually kinda grating on this album. Never thought I'd say that about high screams, but that's the case. Death By Fire is better.
