pretty heartbroken right now. My dog passed away suddenly due to heart failure Really dude? Sorry man, shit sucks. I swear sometimes our pets dying is worse than people. People generally suck, but animals are incredible. Really hate it for you, I really do. Agreed. An animals love is unconditional. People only love you because of what you can do for them. I may have a mental illness sure, but I generally prefer the company of animals to humans.

Always sucks to lose a pet. They are family even though they're around for a much shorter time than people are. I had a cat who died two years ago the day after my grandmother's funeral. I took the cat's death harder. Even if you've lost pets before it always gets you every time. Those cute, furry, loveable things aren't supposed to leave us. They should be around forever.

Thanks guys for the support. It is still a haze that he is gone, because an hour before we took him to the vet he was happy and playing. Goes to show that sometimes you truly don't know what is happening on the inside of a pet, not matter how healthy they seem. We are taking our other dachshund into the vet for a battery of tests so that we can be more in the know
I've had many pets and all of their passing hurt but I always had advance warning that they would be put down. This is extra tough

Give your other an extra treat and belly rub. I'll take my pup, Dimebag Darrell, to the park today I'm honor of yours that passed.

This is extra tough I know it’s hard, and shocking, but look at it this way – at least he didn’t suffer. It’s really a beautiful way to go, to be happy and playing, and then for it to happen suddenly.

Sorry to hear that man :( I've gone through many pet deaths in my life and it is such a shot to the gut because we always make such great bonds with them. Sending my best!

Dimebag is a mut we rescued while living in Hawaii. My son was 8 at the time and gave him his name. We also have a boxer named Eddie and our previous was a mut named Doro.

Sorry about your dog. It's never easy.
My dog passed away almost 3 months ago, and I still can't quite get used to not having her around. We got another one pretty recently, and I love the little guy to death. Though I still wish my other dog was around.

He's their official stalk... I mean photographer. He's finding a way to break through airport security to camp out on the landing strip so he can photograph Bruce as he walks down the airstair. Yeah.

Never saw him solo, but saw him with Murderdolls in '10 on the Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper tour.
A satisfactory performer. Overshadowed by great performers on that particular night.

I just got around to editing out the second of silence that's between [515] and People = Shit off Slipknots 'Iowa'. That brief pause has been annoying me for fifteen years. It works so much better with a seemless gap between the two.

It works so much better with a seemless gap between the two. That never bothered me. Honestly never gave it a second thought. Good news is that fifteen years later people still equal shit.

Dee Snider posted on facebook that he's ready to begin production on a sequel to Strangeland.

If he actually follows through it might provide some incentive for Vestron Video to release Strangeland on blu-ray.

Strangeland was actually good. Only needs watching once, but it was still good.
Also... "it’s feeling like now is the time" = Twisted retired and my new solo album sucks ass so no one wants me to tour

Now, obviously I didn't follow any of it live, but did Rachel Maddow basically shoot herself in the face last night?

Now, obviously I didn't follow any of it live, but did Rachel Maddow basically shoot herself in the face last night? I tuned in against my better judgment just to hear her launching into an absurd conspiratorially rant about some Russian oligarch’s ties to Trump, Florida real estate corruption and Trump’s involvement, money laundering, Deutsche Bank, etc., and that Trump’s tax returns were the key to clearing it all up. Though not – and this is the hilarious part - the ones she actually possessed. Tax returns besides the two pages of his 1040 from 2005 that she managed to dig up are the key to clearing it all up.

Brilliant. I've seen the ones she had, and they just seem to show that Trump paid about 25% tax overall.

That's just a straight division of tax paid over income. I didn't care enough to investigate how much of that income was tax free, etc. As a businessman, likely quite a lot was.
