I'm going to see Withered, Immortal Bird, Vile Creature and Klarg next Saturday. The only ones I've seen or heard of are Klarg but they're apparently going on before doors open so I gotta get there early, maybe go see whoevers playing on Friday night and hide under the one ping-pong table when they try to kick everyone out.
My wife will understand and probably welcome it.

I only went to TWO shows last year, trying to be better this year. Alas, being married and trying to start a family had changed my priorities a bit, but my goal is still to make this a memorable year for shows.
March 23 - Syracuse: RiFF RAFF March 25 - Montreal: Nails (big maybe on this one) March 26 - Northampton, MA: Hate Diplomacy (big maybe on this one)
April 9 - Montreal: Despised Icon
May 17 - Montreal: Psycroptic, Visceral Disgorge May 19 - Foxborough, MA: Metallica (big maybe)
July 19 - Montreal: Metallica
August 10 - NY Death Fest Pre-Show (maybe) August 11 - NY Death Fest August 12 - NY Death Fest

But there's always a person at shows like this who hasn't moved past 1992 and has no clue what's happened since then.

Don't be sorry haha. I hear ya, lots of people I know are like that. Luckily, I'm not stuck in 1992. More like 1994.

Guys, there's fucking hip hop every 5 Warrant songs over the PA. Strangest show I've ever been to.

Get in! Abbath, Denner/Shermann, and Sleep added to the Alcatraz Festival.
Now I can finally find out whether the Denner/Shermann material sounds good in reality...

you are a stronger man than I for being able to put yourself through that again so soon. It's going to be even heavier this time, but more comfortable since the venue is seated and actually has an amazing sound system. Big Brave opening sure as hell isn't going to lower any decibels either. I'm just debating on if I should review it or not. The last show melted the server.

Hopefully the ceiling of the Queen Elizabeth theatre is strong poured concrete. If it's commercial ceiling tiles or stucko I'd bring a hard hat.

I remember bits falling from the ceiling at the Hearn come to think of it.
