Got my shot yesterday!!! I got super sweaty 5 minutes after getting it, then felt mostly fine. Just tired and sore.
I also only got maybe an hour or two of sleep. I'm so used to tossing and turning for an hour before finding a comfortable position, and can't do that when my left arm HURTS.
Might take a short day at work so I can rest. I totally can just take it off, but I'm too proud 🤣

They're doing the old people first because they think they're still the ruling class. Hell that's the damn reason the world was shut down. God forbid a boomer plague try to take their power away. The world wasn't shut down with H1N1 cos it wasn't targetting their age group. Also why the fuck are we still wearing masks if the vaccine is supposed to completely immunize you?

Because you can still carry the virus and pass it on to people that aren't vaccinated. ❤️

The vaccines are approved for emergency use only. They actually haven't been approved by the food and drug administration as valid vaccines that will prevent you from getting the disease yet. All they're going by is that the trials for these vaccines have had good results. There hasn't been enough longterm use of the vaccines to know for sure that they one hundred percent immunize you from covid. The only thing we know about them is that they do well at preventing you from getting covid. So, that is why we still have to ware masks. We have vaccines but they can't be fully trusted yet. I got my shot this morning. Other than some on/off soreness in my arm there is nothing else happening. Am I confident enough in it that I will go out in public without a mask? Nope. But there won't be as much hesitation from me to go somewhere because of it.

I got the same shot yesterday and all I have had is a little arm soreness. My head did feel a little foggy when I woke up today but that could have been because I just woke up or that I took an Advil PM before bed. Once I got up and moving everything was fine.

My brother tested positive. He went to visit his godson on Thursday and caught it there. They didn't know anyone had it until the following day. He did get vaccinated but still had a rough weekend with coughing, chills and a fever. The fever and chills are gone now but the cough is still there. He needs to quarantine until at least Sunday he was told by whoever called to give him the test result.
Get vaccinated and boosted this new variant is hitting hard everywhere. But at least this one seems to move in and out faster than the other forms of covid.
