What's a good website to safely pre-order new releases from Japan? I want the new Helloween album - Japanese Edition and I'm not sure where to start.

I think CD Japan have always been the go to for anyone wanting to do this. English language site based in Japan, so everything is listed in Yen, but I think you can select other currencies. Not sure if that's purely to tell you how much the $ price is, or whether it means you actually pay in $. Probably the former.

Perfect thanks! Just ordered the record, they even gave me a little discount for being a first time shopper.

I'll live with it, it won't kill me. Some things are just worth it.

Let's hope that one extra Helloween song is one of those things ;)

The last time I got a Japanese version of anything was actually Helloween - The Dark Ride. The glossy booklet alone made it worth it and I just looked up this trivia which is interesting. - On some copies of "The Dark Ride" and "Rabbit Don't Come Easy" (as a special two for the price of one cd) the disc has "Mr. Torture" and "All over the Nations" in reverse order so this way "All over the Nations" is track #2. The tracks are also flipped on the Japanese version of the CD.
- The Japanese cover art has the "Helloween" logo in the same type of "scratch writing" as the album title.
- Additionally, the Japanese cover art signifies the first time ever that the band uses the proper letter "o" in the "Helloween" logo instead of a pumpkin
