John The Drummer's Ups and Downs of 2018!!!

Year end lists... something something.... blah blah... new year new me....

Here's a list of ups and downs from 2018!

Ups
- Revolver Magazine premiered one of my bands new albums before it came out.
- I released 6 demos/albums/EPs this year
- There was a TON of awesome wrestling to watch
- There were a TON of awesome video games to play
- I got an awesome promotion at work and love my job
- I got my first new car in 10 years (it's a 2005.... but was barely driven)

Downs
- My uncle passed away. Keep yourselves healthy everyone.
- I had to get rid of my van. Just... too many miles on it :(
- There was TOO MUCH awesome wrestling to watch
- There were TOO MANY awesome video games to play
- I didn't get to play with my friends puppy as much as I wanted to

How many miles did your van have? The current truck I'm driving is 15 years old with 310,000 miles on it. I bought it used so most of that isn't mine but it's still the most mileage I've ever seen on a vehicle.

DAMN!!!!!
It was a 1999 Caravan and had over 200k, maybe 250k? I don't even remember now. Millage aside, though, the power locks stopped working, the horn stopped working, the fuel sensor stopped working, the back windows wouldn't open, it leaked every fluid, etc. 

It held my drums perfectly, which is why I hung onto it for so long, but it was starting to become dangerous/a money pit, so I had to get rid of it.

I got a 2005 Ford Escape. Sun roof, heated seats, great stereo, leather interior. It's a bit more snug when it comes to loading my drums, but still works. I just hit 60k miles on it.
