This evening has been met with a lot of bail-outs.
So far I've tried to watch Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, G.I. Joe Retaliation, and Faster. Which all sucked as much as you'd expect and got switched off.
Now trying A Million Ways To Die In The West.

No Tomorrow
This is a CW show that started airing last year. So far it's enjoyable. I needed something lighthearted.

This evening I decided I needed to watch something reliable, so got the Dredd DVD out.

Anyone watching the new History Channel series Six? Decent, thus far after 4 episodes. I stopped watching that channel years ago. I think it was the Ark of the Covenant special that did it for me. "A newly translated ancient Hebrew text provides clues to what may have happened to the Ark of the Covenant... join us to discover it's fate..." 50 minutes later. "...so what is the fate of the Ark of the Covenant?" *program ends*

The weird dramatisation of history documentaries these days irks me.

No Tomorrow
Just finished the first season. Much more enjoyable than expected. Too bad it probably won't be renewed.

South Park - "Hooked on Monkey Fonics"
One of my favorite episodes. Man, this show used to be so good. Still watch the new ones, but they ain't got shit on seasons 2-7.

It was suggested to me to watch Strangers Things so that's what I'm doing. I love everything about it so far since I'm a lover of most things 80s. Very well done.

Saving Private Ryan
Was never one to enjoy war films, but this one is the one glaring exception.

The Man From Earth. Brilliant movie. Disappointing video quality though. Haven't seen it, but need to. The synopsis reads like it's loosely based on Heinlein's Time Enough For Love.

Decided to watch some anime tonight. I had no idea where to start so I decided to watch some of the Attack on Titan season one, since I've heard of it and know it's popular. It wasn't too bad.

Just started watching Stargate: Universe recently. Brilliant show, several times better than its predecessor, Atlantis. How that was allowed to run for five seasons and this got shitcanned after two, I don't know.
